About Us

Linaje Escogido (Chosen Lineage) is a contemporary worship music duo integrated by Samuel and Joann González, a happily married couple. Their mission has led them, among other things, to impact young couples and singles alike, who are in their journey or pursuit of a lifelong partner and seek to honor God in the process. Since 2017, the duo has been delivering the gift of music, spoken word, and written ideas, all encompassed in heavenly inspiration and earthly application. Their musical career started at the release of their first single "No Temeré" (I Will Not Fear) – a powerful ballad that affirms the anchorage and security that exists when we trust The Almighty in times of adversity.

Our Music

Linaje Escogido’s music draws from pop, electronic, and CCM influences that convey the joyful energy of this couple’s worship. Their songs bring about a fresh sound that serves as the perfect platform for the voices of Joann and Samuel complementing each other in perfect harmony. Linaje Escogido has enjoyed resounding success through their original material as well as with Spanish cover songs of contemporary hit songs. Such is the case of "Peleas Por Mi", the first Spanish adaptation of "Fighting for Me", as well as “Lazarus” and “Holy Water'' respectively. This hit among others has been gathered on their new record production in 2022; «Sobre La Roca», a project that includes collaborations with Miel San Marcos and Alex Zurdo.

Our Book

The duo has delivered their first book titled "No Te Conformes Con La Copia". This literary work explores singleness and the process of correctly waiting for the perfect partner as designated by God. They claim the key is to: “Not settle for a copy when God has your original". The book is a practical guide to navigating the turbulent sea of identifying one’s true-life partner with total approval of God. The book and accompanying conference have been total hits with everyone from youth to adults, who seek to honor God in the process of identifying their life partner, or are seeking scripture, and guidance to assist others in doing so.
